Two Jersey brothers set out on a mission to create an establishment where you can get delicious East Coast Flavor Food and enjoy Smooth Nostalgic Music in a Feel-Good Environment.

Meet the Founders

Brothers Arman and Kris "Boo" Elliott first hit the Austin scene in the early 90's when they would visit their Grandparents for a few weeks every summer, but officially became Austin residents in 2015 and in 2017, when they left their central Jersey township to begin their entrepreneurial journey in the Lone Star State.

R&B's food trailer first opened on 5th Street in Downtown Austin in April of 2019. Their hard work serving thousands of customers has culminated with several accolades, including the 2021 title for "Best Fries in ATX" from Austin Monthly and the "Best Cheesesteak in Texas" from Eat This, Not That!.

The sons of two military vets, Arman and Boo credit their parents' patience, work ethic, and selflessness, along with their culturally and geographically diverse upbringing, with shaping them into the people they are today.

We proudly use 100% Texas Beef for our cheesesteaks. It's our way of paying homage to the state we call home.

Your sandwich is alway made-to-order and does not hit the flat top until you've placed your order. Our cheesesteaks are always made fresh, with perfection in mind.

We use Amoroso Bread Rolls, widely considered the bread of choice for a classic Cheesesteaks. We use fresh ingredients daily to ensure the best experience for our guests.
